Caramelized Banana Oats
Adding caramelized bananas to oatmeal is an absolute game changer so I have to share how this magic is done is less than 5 minutes.
Ingredients:
Banana
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp brown sugar
Cinnamon
Directions:
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat
Cut banana into desired pieces
Add the banana and brown sugar to the pan and cook until golden, about 5 minutes. Move bananas around every 30 seconds so that they do not stick to the pan
Remove from eat, sprinkle with cinnamon, then enjoy!
Pro tips:
Make sure you use a non stick pan so that it is easier to clean
If banana is cut long ways (horizontally) use tongs to carefully flip the banana during the cooking process
Add caramelized bananas to a bowl of oatmeal or pair with your favorite ice cream
